The Ki-83 was a big hope for Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. Up to the end of WW 2, the Mitsubishi Company had built and tested four prototypes. Only one survived the war and afterwards this aircraft was tested by US forces. The kit contains 2 sprues with grey plastic parts, injected canopies, detailed resin parts for both cockpits and photo-etched parts. Decals included are for prototype aircraft trialed by both IJAAF and US forces and a "What if" machine from 64th Sentai during 1946 Tokyo Defense.
